This notice explains what personal information Ceryx Medical Limited collects when you use this website or contact us, how we use it, and the rights you have. It applies to ceryxmedical.com. It does not cover our clinical studies, which have their own participant information and consent documents.
Ceryx Medical Limited is the data controller for the information described here. We are a company registered in England and Wales, number 10001886, with our registered office at 4th Floor, 14 Museum Place, Cardiff CF10 3BH, United Kingdom. You can contact us about anything in this notice at info@ceryxmedical.com.
Information you give us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive what you send: typically your name, organisation, email address, the subject you chose and your message.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device, the pages you viewed and the time of your visit. This is collected by our hosting provider and is used in aggregate to keep the site secure and understand how it is used.
Cookies. The site uses only the cookies our hosting provider needs to serve it securely and reliably. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics or marketing pixels.
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell it.
The website and its contact form are hosted by Wix.com Ltd, which processes information on our behalf under a data processing agreement. Enquiries submitted through the form are stored in our Wix account. Wix operates data centres in the United States, Europe and Israel; where information leaves the UK, transfers are covered by the UK addendum to the EU standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
We may also share information with our professional advisers (such as lawyers and accountants) where necessary, and with regulators or law enforcement if the law requires it. We do not share website enquiries with investors or partners without telling you first.
We keep contact-form enquiries and related correspondence for as long as the conversation is active and for up to three years afterwards, so that we can pick up where we left off if you get in touch again. Technical logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period for security purposes. We delete or anonymise information when we no longer need it.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and in some cases to receive it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email info@ceryxmedical.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to put things right first.
